I was a university professor for about 14 year, and I love teaching. I provide free or low-cost talks upon request for schools, PTAs, mental health clinics, and other places.
Common topics include different aspects of parenting teens (bullies, video games, attachment, anxiety, depression, and resiliency), trauma (impact on relationships, how to decrease flashbacks, practical self-care), and issues pertaining to being a therapist (how to help others without hurting yourself, how to work with teens and family systems).
