Does your life look fine from the outside, but inside you feel restless or empty, like something vital is missing? Does the life you've built no longer feel aligned with who you truly are?
Many people come to Psychodynamic and Jungian Depth psychotherapy when insight and willpower aren't enough. You may feel anxious, lost, or disconnected, repeating old patterns or questioning who you're becoming.
Old roles and relationships may not fit the way they once did, and a deeper question begins to emerge: Who am I now?
I offer Depth-oriented therapy in-person in Newport Beach, and online residing anywhere in California, for people seeking self-discovery, healing, and growth.

Many of my clients are the ones others turn to for support when things aren't going well.
They are helpers by nature, such as therapists, nurses, empaths, and spiritual healers, who spend their days caring for the emotions and needs of others. Or they feel the world deeply, such as people who are creative or intuitive, Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), and those who have the soul of an artist.
Growing up over-focusing on the needs of others, they learned to dismiss themselves. To keep the peace, they have learned to quiet their true reactions, even when something within them longs to be heard.
Sometimes a response to trauma or a rigid religious upbringing, they lean towards perfectionism and guilt. Though naturally kind and attuned, they often feel unseen and starved for true emotional intimacy.
Over time, being so open to the feelings and needs of others can become heavy. The constant emotional absorption can lead to exhaustion, and withdrawing can start to feel like the only way to rest.
Depth therapy offers a space to reclaim what feels vital and alive within you, and to live a more connected fulfilling life.
Exploring your inner world invites you to listen more deeply to yourself, to the quiet motivations behind your behaviors, to the emotions and traumas that remain unresolved, and to the wisdom that emerges when those parts are brought into balance.
There comes a time in midlife when the path that once made sense begins to fade. You might look around and realize that the roles you've played, the relationships you've built, and even the career goals you've achieved no longer feel like they fit.
Anxiety is a signal that something within us is struggling to come into awareness. This tension between the conscious self and the unconscious often manifests as restlessness, worry, or fear that something is wrong. Even when nothing in our outer world seems to explain it.
